Wisdom of The Heart Retreat
November 10th-14th, 2027
Boonville, CA
What is your heart calling for and calling forth?
When is the last time you really stopped to listen to it’s wisdom, and let it lead?
Leading from the heart takes courage, vulnerability, and strength.
It’s often easier said than done.
And yet, when we can get quiet enough to listen to the whispers of our heart, wisdom abounds, and the path forward becomes more clear.
It’s the getting quiet enough and setting it all down for long enough that’s the hard part.
Hence, this retreat.
You’re invited to set down the hustle and bustle and join me, Emily Fleming, ERYT-500, for this 4-night retreat in the beautiful Anderson Valley of California as we strip away the noise of the outside word and make space to move, breathe, and connect to the wisdom that lies within our hearts.
Our home for this retreat, WhisperTree Retreat Center, offers us the perfect setting to drop-in. Nestled on 600 acres, about 2 hours north of San Francisco in the beautiful Anderson Valley of Mendocino County. Anderson Valley is known for it's wines and picturesque scenery, including a beautiful redwood forest at Hendy Woods State Park, about 15-minutes from our retreat center. This is a truly magical area of the country, where nourishing your body, mind, and spirit with fresh and local food and taking in the stunning vistas is on the daily agenda.
Our retreat center boasts miles of walking trails through the relatively undisturbed land, an outdoor cedar hot tub perfect for unwinding at the end of the day, and beautifully appointed, rustic farmhouse style rooms.
What To Expect:
We'll begin each morning with an active yoga practice designed to help us peel away the layers so we can listen more clearly to what lies within our hearts. While this will be an active practice, it will be an accessible practice, with plenty of variations and moments to rest offered throughout.
A beautiful, locally sourced brunch (dietary restrictions will be accommodated) will follow, catered by a local chef.
From there, you'll have the freedom to feel into the day, and follow your heart's desire, whether that's walking the trails, sunbathing outside with a good book, explore the beautiful Anderson Valley, or simply just being.
A light snack will be available in the afternoons for those seeking nourishment before we meet again for either a late afternoon or evening restorative practice, designed to support us in getting quiet and still so we can hear the whispers our heart is sharing.
We'll enjoy dinner together each evening, as we break bread and connect, heart to heart with each other.
On our last evening together, we'll venture out into one of the surrounding towns for a final dinner out.
Take 4-nights before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to reset and recalibrate for the year ahead, as you quiet your mind, and tap into the wisdom of your heart.

“Fantastic, magical, Emily led a fantastic retreat and we really built a wonderful community. Each moment from yoga, to nature walks and meditations, book nooks, laughs at the dinner table and fire pit was absolutely wonderful.”
“Emily conducts a yoga retreat like a symphony. Everyone knows where to be and when. There is always a smile and her practices are a blend of poses that harmonize into feelings of fullness. The body and mind are pushed to explore new depths but the final result is one of refreshment and the restoration of optimism. A+”
“Emily fostered such an intentional and magical space on this retreat. The themes of structure and ease were beautifully integrated into everything from practices to nourishing meals all set in the most beautiful Vermont backdrop. Yoga, breath work, and meditations exercises with Emily are my absolute favorite. Her knowledge, gentle adjustments, and soothing voice made this whole experience incredibly restorative and healing. She was a fantastic leader and fostered great connections with every participant in the group. This was my first yoga retreat, but it certainly won’t be my last with Emily! It was truly a life changing experience!”
