During this 60-minute practice you will get to explore various styles of mindfulness and meditation techniques.
If 60 minutes of meditation feels daunting, each class is a multi-layered experience with breath practices, optional gentle movements and a short Dharma talk for you to listen to, to connect with the teachings. Then, we sit, quiet down our voices, and get still for 20-30 minutes together.
We know it is called "the sit" but you are welcome to practice in any posture that you feel comfortable in.
With a down to earth and flexible approach, this class is designed to be accessible to a complete beginner and regular practitioners.
